DIG Celebrates Grand Opening of UHP’s Park Tree Community Health Center

The grand opening of Urban Health Plan’s Park Tree Community Health Center at 866 E Tremont Ave in the Bronx marks the seventh Federally-Qualified Health Center designed for UHP by the firm. UHP, one of the largest Federally-Qualified Health Centers in New York State, is a nationally acclaimed model of innovation in community health care and disease prevention.  In this community with high rates of diabetes, hypertension and heart disease, the new 8,000+ SF Park Tree Extension Clinic offers residents medical services for all ages, including: family medicine, COVID vaccines, health education, onsite lab services, telehealth, and more.

According to Principal Bob Ryan; “Working with the leadership at UHP to help pinpoint the objectives that support their clinical program, is always a rewarding experience that consistently inspires us to design spaces that match the high level of care aspirations that UHP provides to the community.”

Earlier this year, DIGroup Architecture helped UHP break ground on a new 52,000 square foot health care facility at 1095 Southern Boulevard in the Bronx (NYC) they also designed.
