Vince Myers, DIG President, Discusses “A Blueprint For Growth” on NJBIZ Conversations

Vincent Myers, AIA, LEED AP, President, was invited to be a guest on “NJBIZ Conversations” with Jeffrey Kanige, Host and Editor.

With new developments, redevelopments, and construction projects underway, Myers spoke about the company’s origins as well as their future plans.

During a lengthy conversation, Kanige asked Myers to highlight some of the projects the company has worked on. Myers selected one project in particular to elaborate on, “Probably one of our smaller scale projects but certainly very much representative of our culture, is at Stony Brook University. The UNITI Cultural Center is a tiny gem of a project, but it is having a ripple effect across that college community because it is a special place for minority students to assemble on that campus and was applauded for its design and impact by University President Maurie McInnis.”

When asked if and how the pandemic has affected work, Myers explained how the company looked for opportunities to keep their projects diverse, and across multiple fields.

Kanige pointed out that with so many architectural firms in the mix, how does DIGroup stand out.   Myer’s response was, “Our tagline is ‘Architecture for Change’ and we believe very strongly that our history, how we came about… our willingness to want to go into communities and work with diverse clients, in diverse settings, really represents who we are.”
