Rutgers University Van Nest Hall

Renovations took place in this c.1845 building to serve Rutgers’ Alumni. Historic features were preserved or restored. The sensitivity to the building’s heritage and consideration of the historic status of the Old Queens Campus were documented by the New Jersey Historic Trust. Improvements integrate ADA requirements, provide additional restrooms and reconfigure office spaces to meet new program goals.

The redesigned and adapted functions of Van Nest Hall now makes it an even greater historic asset to the University and the Foundation.
