Rutgers University Rockoff Hall

The program for the main floor of this dormitory included a student lounge and recreation area, fitness center, and student laundry facilities. In each of these spaces, the design team sought to provide interior finishes and a color palette that was vibrant and attractive to students, while being durable and easy to maintain.

This was achieved by a mix of hard and soft flooring finishes to define and create spaces as well as cladding walls and structural columns in visually appealing finishes. The overall result was the creation of a contemporary and attractive environment for student recreation, fitness and support services.
