Rutgers University Clinical Academic Suite

The Clinical Academic Building renovation at Rutgers University consists of a complete redesign of laboratory space serving biomedical research occurring within the Robert Wood Johnson teaching campus. Included with the facility redesign are offices for the Department of Medicine to support their ongoing administrative needs.

Key to the project is the creation of a collaborative research environment of open laboratory space in concert with clustered departmental offices. Centralized graduate office space throughout the floor creates a focal point for students and their research activities.

Multiple spaces are seen here supporting the theme of the design; collaboration spaces, quiet work spaces, and laboratory studies are all easily viewed and accessed by the students and staff in the suite.
