Johnathan Dayton High School Ribbon Ceremony

Since its 1970’s inception, the existing 7,220 SF Media Center at Johnathan Dayton High School had remained largely untouched. The space appeared tired, poorly lit and contained a collection of books rarely accessed by the student body. DIGroupArchitecture designed a technology-rich space that is vibrant and appealing while comfortable and accessible for today’s tech-savvy students.

The space is flexible, bright and offers a wide variety of teaching and learning opportunities for those whose curiosity and creativity draws them to both todays and redesigned future technology.

Serving as a vital and essential part of the high school, the new Media Center is available to the high schools 600 students. Our work was recognized at the ribbon cutting ceremony and applauded by the students, families and faculty members. We would like to thank all those whose tireless efforts made this project possible and successful.
