Drew University Wesley House

Wesley House, built circa 1870, is one of the oldest facilities on campus and formed part of the original Drew Seminary. As part of a program of reinvestment into its facilities, Wesley House was transformed into a multi-functional Campus Welcome Center for students and their families.

In 1873, the third president of Drew University, John Fletcher Hurst, moved into the house and from that year on it was referred to as the President’s House. Its renovation was intended to advance an attractive campus focal point to greater use. DIGroupArchitecture was retained for a complete redesign of the space and renovations and upgrades necessary for the facility to serve as the University’s Admissions Office. This renovation provided interior design and capital updates to support three offices, two conference rooms and a waiting area.
